Getting to Know the New Standards

The TASL AASL Standards Task Force is pleased to provide professional development centered around the 2018 Learner Standards.  Training can be delivered in a live, four-hour session, or it can be delivered in a recorded webcast lasting between three and four hours.  If your district is interested in receiving professional development pertaining to the Standards, please contact Karen Haggard ([email protected]) or Amber Moser ([email protected]).

    3. Learners should be prepared for college, career, and life
    4. Reading is the core of personal and academic competency.
    5. Intellectual freedom is every learner’s right.
    6. Information technologies must be appropriately integrated and equitably available.
